Tranquility Point Therapeutic Massage
Taking you to the point of tranquility naturally

About Us

Tranquility Point Therapeutic Massage was founded in March 2013 by retired Army Staff Sergeant Michele Richardson and Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist Annette Thompson. After three deployments

in Afghanistan and Iraq and over 20 years of service, Michele saw the benefits of therapeutic massage for relief from her pain. After receiving her certification in therapeutic massage at Southeastern

Institute in Charlotte Michele later joined Annette in business to provide therapeutic massage to their clients and military, teachers, and healthcare professionals.

Thus, Tranquility Point Therapeutic Massage was born. Annette is a graduate of Gaston College. She decided to become a massage therapist after 17 years in retail. Annette loved working with the public and wanted to help people to heal naturally. She left her hometown of Lumberton NC in 2004 to pursue her dream career in massage therapy.

By providing customized therapeutic massage services at discounted rates in the West Charlotte area and beyond, including South Carolina, they can provide therapeutic massage services to masses.

According to the National Holistic Institute as of 2018 “43% of Americans receiving massage reported they did so for health conditions such as pain management. 83% of consumers agree that massage can be effective in reducing pain. Approximately 47.5 million people have had 214 massages in the US in 2018.”

Tranquility Point’s mission is to provide quality and affordable therapeutic massages to veterans and active-duty military, healthcare professionals, teachers, and the community at large. Tranquility Point Therapeutic Massage aligns with both the founders’ efforts to provide therapeutic massage to relieve the pain and stress that their clients face day-to-day.
